Apocalypse

Global problems,offer people the perspective of observing problems of a higher level.Such situations invigorate the sense of uniting for a cause and for tackling the catastrophe.Environmental problems are some of the many problems which are global in scope.When we are faced with an environmental disaster, uniting to fight for the cause if the only logical solution.Under such situations, there might be no countries, wanting to just single-handedly tackle the calamity.
An apt example for seeing the unison a global problem brings amongst the people all over the world, is the problem of Global Warming. With successful progress in trying to determine the causes and effects of global warming, it is now clear that we need to fight for a common cause and each one can help save our planet.The melting of the glaciers is because of the Green house gases emitted worldwide.This triggers a feeling of oneness amongst all the people world over, to spread the word and rescue our planet from what today seems to be, a definite tragedy.
Today we see prolific personalities such as Al Gore and others,trying to literate the minds of the people in numerous countries, and making them aware of our apathetic behavior towards mother Earth. Renowned personalities and media stars have joined hands to spread the word and cause mass awareness.Never has the history of mankind seen such amicability amongst nations.
Another step taken forward by humanity for humanity is the ONE organization, which aims at improving the lives of millions of malnourished and underprivileged kids and people.It has seen support from notable personalities world-over, and from people of all countries.
When the problems are faced by a few countries, not every person is determined to help fight it.There may be numerous reasons for that.However, whenever we have observed a common threat to our existence and well-being on this planet, humanity has stood up and fought for the greater good.No politician,philosopher or war could ever unite us this way. It is only the environmental problems which leave us with the single choice of unity and cooperation.
